Mune - derived from words meaning measure
and month — explores systems used to measure time and the dual rhythm of day and night. The work shown presents the night cycle alone, formed by lunar rather than solar time. Each piece is formed from twelve deconstructed
stitched cubes, made in increasing one hour increments, embedding time directly into the material through the
repetition of stitches. Deconstructed and reassembled, the cubes become imagined landscapes, a constellation of marks that suggest archipelagos or astral formations: maps of time and presence -
